Love Island USA Chelley & Ace Split After 5 Months

Looks like another Love Island Season 7 couple has bitten the dust. Fan-favorite pair Ace (23) and Chelley (28). The top 5 couple have officially ended their relationship after five months of dating.

Chelley recently appeared on Page Six’s SiriusXM radio show to discuss life after the villa. During the interview, hosts Danny and Evan pressed her for an update on her relationship status. After taking a deep breath, Chelley announced they have decided to part ways.

Keeping it classy, the Love Island star didn’t go into detail about what led to the breakup, but she did share a heartfelt message:

“It really was a tough decision, like, for the both of us and very hard to decide. But, you know, when you love someone, sometimes loving someone means letting go. So I think we just got to a decision that was best.”

Looking back, fans can’t help but wonder were the signs always there? From early drama in the villa to tension outside of it, fueled by jealousy, questions linger. Was it simply a maturity issue tied to their age gap? Or was the pressure of public scrutiny too much for the relationship to survive?

One thing’s for sure, his breakup adds Ace and Chelley to the growing list of Love Island couples who couldn’t make it work once the cameras stopped rolling.
